are you being called?

How could I have known what an amazing adventure awaited me? Settled into my comfortable life in Canada, I was reasonably content. Yet many events and inner promptings urged me to pack a bag and head to Peru to experience the healing and teachings of the sacred plant medicine, ayahuasca. Fearful to travel alone, I ignored the call for several months, but eventually, in June 2006, I conjured enough courage.

What I experienced upon my arrival altered me permanently. I intended to dive very deeply and finally free myself from embedded traumas and false belief systems. The medicines have revealed teachings which transformed spiritual concepts into living knowledge. I now effortlessly abide in a profound trust and more and more I remember who and what I truly am.

After working with these powerful plant spirits for a couple of years, I believe these sacred medicines are a tremendous gift to the resurrection of humanity. I am inspired to create a safe place for other women to discover their innermost beings through them.

I am offering three week retreats for women to participate in sacred plant ceremonies, to express themselves through daily journalling, and to learn to paint freely and passionately from their hearts.

For now I am inviting women because, as a woman, I was so afraid to travel to South America when I felt the call. I didn’t know the language or the culture and I didn’t know if I would be safe traveling alone. I assure you, this is a wondrous place populated with a gentle people.
