El molle is an evolving, revolving international community. Sometimes very busy, all rooms full, sometimes very quiet. It is a place to expand, to create, to explore inner and outer realities and community living.
We are nestled at the foot of amazing ancient temple complexes and only a short walk into the charming market town of Pisac.
Sometimes we have “family” outings to ruins or the hotsprings for a soak and an overnighter. Fridays, some go to Ulricke’s cafe to watch a film from her extensive library on her big TV.
We have had a group art show in Cusco and a music concert with various local muscians. Drumming circles, full moon ceremonies, stargazing, there are many ways to enjoy each others company and creativity.
Our friends and neighbors Diego & Milagros share their temple for morning meditation and yoga as well as ayahuasca ceremonies.
Some of us are also involved with a non-profit association to help promote clean drinking water for everyone, and to reduce plastic water bottles from ending up in the river and littering the land.
We hosted a workshop at el molle, teaching how to build and install biosand filters, and have made 29 since January ’08.
